Dimbeng

Born in Ivory Coast in 1968 and based in Paris since 1986, DIMBENG initiated the Mixed Art Relief, which uses materials such as tapa (tree bark), raffia, marble powder etc. This mixed media technique is about producing an organic texture where matter, shapes and colors merge, thus contributing to the highlighting of the work that can be abstract or figurative. Her works deal with the woman, the symbolism of African spirituality and its cultural contribution to humanity, and the relation of humans to their fellows and the planet.

George Callison

George who lives in western Colorado, USA, grew in Kansas where he learned to appreciate land and life, and to see nature deeply.  He became a paleontologist by profession but he continued as an explorer who discovers patterns of shapes and colors and a translator of discoveries into paintings. His appreciation for nature comes through his quote “I love the power of a high mountain storm, the mystery of reflections, the anticipation of adventure, the play of sun and shadow, the excitement of discovery, the patina of history, the enigma of clouds, and the surprise of color.
