Pesticides residues to be aware of in common foods

Foods & vegetables are essential in our diet for providing complete nutrition to our body But these days chances of residual pesticides on fruits and vegetables or the chemical exposure for early ripening of harvest are very common, which is an increasing threat to our health. Fruits and vegetables in the market often tend to exceed a set limit of pesticide residue levels. Report by the agriculture department showed that there has been an increased in the number of samples having pesticides above the permitted residue level. On the basis of MRL level, these fruits and vegetables considered unsafe

Vegetables:
Cabbage, Cauliflower, Tomato, Brinjal, Greens, Potato, Spinach, Mushrooms, Carrots

Fruits:
Apples, Strawberries, Grapes, Mangoes, Bananas

Looking at the toxicity in daily foods, organic food is a good option.There are many benefits of organic foods as the method of organic farming doesn’t support the use of pesticides or any other chemicals. All the procedure of farming is done naturally without any involvement of harmful chemicals.
